What Does God Want?

He wants us to make Him first in our lives. “In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”Proverbs 3:6

He wants us to have a job that gives us joy. “This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them—for this is their lot.” Ecclesiastes 5:18

He wants us to cast all of our burdens at His feet. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

He wants us to be still and meditate on His Word. “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.” Psalm 37:7

He wants us to have fellowship. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Mathew 18:20
